Sure ... it is possible ... try different options on SP Flash Tool :
1) Download only
2) Firmware Upgrade
3) Format All + Download (at own risk)

Try to copy the ROM.zip (downloaded from Needrom) on your microSD ... and then to flash it into recovery mode :-)

This is not working its files for flashtool, in recovery : verification failed

OK ... I have watched your video ... you have a stock recovery ... not a custom recovery :-)
Try to download and install MTK Droid Tools from the thread below :

And then, try to make a backup with MTK Droid Tools ... follow the video-tutorial below :



After that you have made a backup, try to install CWM by MTK Droid Tools ... follow the video-tutorial below :



And then, try to make a factory reset in CWM recovery :-)
