I hope that you have resolved your problem
I am in the same situation or very similar

first day of usage :
Powered off, then never powered on again,
no sign of life with buttons, with cable, on windows, ...etc
i am suspecting the lightning cable,
but in my thong (I WAS DESESPERATE) it seems to deliver some electricity ??

any new clues since then ?

hi.
first.. try with another lightning cable, im pretty sure it is.
if no, let them rest at least 5 days, until the batt discharge all.
if you want, go back a few pages behind in this post, you will see i put them, very sure packed into the freezer, it could help.

then, let them un freeze, dry and then, if you are totally sure its not wet plug in the charger.

when it power on, root , i use a chinese program, if you want i can put the link, and erase a lot of crap apps.
