Hi there

I am new Embarrased

Please can I have some help in finding a good enough phone.

My main uses will be mostly whatsapp / viber. Maybe some fun apps sometimes but not always
I will be using the camera a lot.
i thought a quad core - 1gb RAM would be good enough for me.

If I can get that in less than £100, it would be nice.

Also I am weary of ordering directly from China, as I feel if something goes wrong and I have to return the phone , couriers are charging £30 Crying

These are the phones I had a look at

oh also I need a phone that will work in the UK on 3g.

You've listed mostly shops from Chinese. You will still be paying for shipping if there's a problems.

Please look at our sponsors. They are obliged to take care. Shipping back to China of there's a problem is just the risk we are taking when trying to save hundreds of dollars.

See iOcean x7 HD for cheaper nice look phone with good. Should be having the 900.

yes i am trying to look for Uk shops. thoes are just some of the phones i am interested in.

what do you mean by 900?
That is 3g frequency for many places in UK and Europe. Most the China phone have 2100 which is good for Europe UK also, but only few China phones have 900. So basically you will have more coverage area if phone have the 900.

converting the dollars into pounds, means this phone will cost me less than £50 . Is this true? It seems too good to be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please get back to me very quickly, also what are the benefits of placing order through these sites, if something go wrong, who pays return postage?

where do you think you are, the Ritz-Carleton? Drool Joke.

The MX28 is not available yet.

Yes, if something goes wrong, you responsible for shipping. That is same for most all China shop, even the eBay one. That is the risk taken instead of buy $300-800 phone at local shop.

Crazy Big Grin

ok so in terms of the forums, the shops are reliable if I place an order through them then! Smiling
They are reliable in that they will not rip you off. They will send the phone you paid for. If there's some true hardware problem that needs warranty fixing, they will take care of it for you, but for warranty service you must pay for shipping both ways and obviously there is a waiting period during that time.

I recommend you use DHL or EMS for shipping. It's extra money, but money well spent. If you don't see your phone shipped within 5 business days, contact me immediately through www.gizbeat.com so I can iron out whatever problems there may be.

Thank you so much for the information. I will let you know once I decide on a phone. So difficult - so much choice!! Smiling
if you want a fairly hassle free phone i would suggest the iNew V3 (might be slightly over your budget though). since you said you want a decent camera that would be a good choice as usually the cameras of chinese phones are pretty crappy.

regarding the 3g in UK - you should have a look which frequency is used by your provider for 3g -
many chinese phones either support 900/2100 or 850/2100, which is usually ok for Europe.
according to http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html in UK 2100 is used. you might want to check anyways.
