Very busy days.

We made 1.1.5 but didn't released because we are working on major battery drain fix.
they have also sent me this picture of the battery status of the new rom on inew v3 :
[attachment=1458]
Only 15 hours from 100% until 22%?
Bad ROM (v1.1.5) with that battery spent.
My iNew V3 came with v1.1.1 and it was worse, from 100% until 20% in only 8 hour.
I return to v1.0.8.
danyno1,what you've told us now with this picture? Nothing, just that the battery has a longer lifespan, and we do not know if it's just for a new rom or that they might use some new battery? They just send you this picture? Why just send this picture if you did not write any explanation, namely, the answer to your question, so if you have some new information and free time, please share it with us. By the way, the battery is not the only bug in V3.
Thanks a lot

that's all I got Drool. but it's clear that the picture is related to the 1.1.5 rom. there is no new battery.
probably they wanted to say that the battery drains accurate this time. unlike the current roms that battery status jumps from 100 to 88 and from 4 to 0 in a blink of an eye..
In 6 months of usage battery life is the only problem I have with this phone.
This was my only issue with the phone as well. I avoided it by charging externally, which I often prefer anyways. Try not to expect a fix for this. It is very likely not ROM related. It is an issue with the way this charging system works with the battery. It simply does not have enough 'oomph' to push the battery to full.
Does anybody know if the Doogee dg550 battery will fit? It seems like the made the same phone with a bigger screen, but it comes with a 2600mah battery. Worth ordering and trying.

Regarding the rom, I am using 1.1.8 with an app called battery doctor. Not sure if somebody covered it but I am getting around 24 hours with general use. And get over 14 hours with gaming for around 3 hours. In my mind, that is not bad at all. Using an alternative charger that is 1amp output and charges overnight every night. Please note though that it is the 2000mah battery mod.

Will do some checks with on screen time and stuff and post it tonight. Can hope it is over most other people. Not a heavy user and managing.
I've tried for years these battery saver apps, and at the end they're just a placebo. The main problem, beside the small battery capacity, is that we can't set a governor because of the closed kernel: we don't need 4 cores at maximum speed even when in idle!
