Hi guys. I have spent the better part of this month looking for all information about the iNew V3A/ V3 plus. It seems like there are some major discrepancies about the specifications everywhere. For instance, the iNew site says that the phone has a Mali 400 MP2 GPU. Does it have a Mali 400MP2 or is it actually a Mali 450MP4 or Mali 450MP?

They originally said that it had a Gyro sensor but now they say it doesn't but according to AnTuTu, the phone has one or is it faked? Which is Which?

Does anyone have the (true) specifications of this phone.
Not sure where you're looking. GPU is Mali-450MP4 according to the official site. See the black image about 3/4 the way down.

What I meant was that there is a lot of conflicting information on their official sites - if there is so much contrasting information, then where are we to get the right information prior to launch? Thankfully the phone is already shipping and we can now figure things out by ourselves. I am planning to buy the V3 plus and hope to create several spin-off development threads and tutorials - I'm just testing the waters and creating somewhere for V3 plus owners to land.

I just saw two unbelievable specs on an official iNew V3 plus site. According the site, the V3 plus also has a barometer and infrared sensor. If you want to see for yourself, just go to [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. In there there is also mention of 2k Ultra HD recording support. Is that feature enabled by default? I'm asking because only 1080p is mentioned for the phones video recording capability.

It's like iNew copies and pastes specs from the description of an old phone and switches out the things that changed. I'm not against that but at least they should get things right the first time. I noticed that the official iNew V3 plus page has some features from the old V3 mingled with features from the new one.

Even worse is that the staff member responding to customer queries on the official sales page doesn't appear to be sure about the exact specifications. Shouldn't the R&D department announce the official specs of any new phone they develop so that they can be used every time the phone is mentioned?
Thank goodness I didn't get the phone on preorder. Now I have set my sight on the upcoming Elephone P3000s - looks like a terrific phone. I'll buy it in mid-January when it has been reviewed by more than enough people.

Elephone currently have 4 phones on preorder (G4, G5, P3000s, and P6000). I'm waiting to see if they will have any quality control issues - I hope the P3000s is perfect from the get-go.
Hmm, have been reading all your guys posts and now i'm not sure about this phone...

Ive ordered the phone at Gearbest and now it's finally on its way...maybe arriving next week.

I hope the specs on their website are true or i will be very disappointed...

hi, I got this phone three days ago. I am very satisfied. I feared most for the battery, but it's not as bad as talking. I do not play games but wi fi is running all the time, GPS, calls, messages and battery hold all day. phone does not support NFC.
