I don't see how the phone could get bricked, app does a vulnerability check, based on results applies exploit if successful su app will be placed in system/app if not it won't be placed there.

It works (v1.9.1) for:
Tianhe H920+ Turbo
Star S6
both are Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean), MTK6589T, Cortex A7 quad core, 1.5GHz; 5"
You can check did it work with tool like Root Analyzer from Google Play.
If you want to unroot it (?), start SuperSU (installed at root process), go to Settings and uncheck "Enable Superuser". After reboot your device will be unrooted.
You need to repeat Framaroot procedure from start to enable root again.
NOTICE from SuperSU description at Google Play:
A SPECIAL PROCEDURE IS NEEDED FOR UNINSTALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE APP, DO *NOT* JUST UNINSTALL IT, YOU *WILL* LOSE ROOT.

WOW/. Tried too many root methods but not one succeded in rooting my phone.

1gb ram
4 cores cpu 1.3
android 4.2.2
Worked in seconds like charm with boromir option.
root checker confirmed root access.
