Hi
I'm using a HTC Desire 320 mtk6582 but it says :
You have a secured boot image on your MTK device
You have a MT6582 SoC
Sorry not compatible for your KitKat device

Is there any custom recovery for this phone?
Thanks
I have a lot of trial and error reports from my friends who tried to "make" CTR/TWRP/CWM through "Magic TWRP/CWM" that our product MT8382 is reported by the app as being "not Compatible" (MT8382 is tablet SoC equivalent to phone MT6582) we are stuck in a bind now unable to create even a non perfect customs recovery. I have an MT6592/6582 devices and MT8382 devices from another model which has a perfect TWRP but made by somebody. This particular MT8382 is for another model (same brand) that doesnt have TWRP/CWM floating around the web.
"Not compatible"???

Do you think the TWRP you have for MT8382 would work on my HTC Desire 320 MT6582? Do you know what it means that "You have a secured boot image on your MTK device" does it mean I have a locked bootloader? How would I unsecure a boot image?

Thanks

As far as I am aware of MTK doesnt have "bootlocked" kernels/boot (at least from my Lenovo experience)If you want to try it it is at your own risk! I advised you to first get your hands on the original "recovery.img" from SPFlashTool version of your firmware (I called it "virgin" recovery.img NOT a backed up recovery - you will know if you see the size the backed up ones will be 50% bigger than "virgin" ones) This required so that if one fails you can use SPFlashtool method or MobileUncleTool method to re"INSTALL" the original recovery - and also backed up your IMEI before hand. The model I am referring to can be taken from Lenovo S930/A880/A889 MT6582 devices.
Pls help me port CTR to my VIWA A5+ Android 5.0 MT6582 device.... Thanks
Its says its not compatible with my KitKat device meanwhile the phone is lollipop
