There are several packs there. Try the auto drivers or PDAnet. If they're not working, it's unlikely to do with the driver pack you're using. Remove all drivers and install just one pack. If still not working, look here:

Hi,
I read somewhere that since the CTR program is virtually a copy/paste program that it is possibly to make the CWM by patching things manualy. Is there a good guide for this or better yet, if I upload my recovery.img can somebody who knows what he is doing do it for me?
Works great on Alps X506-3G MT6572
did not work on huawei y220 movistar!!!!help stuck on company logo
wen i use cwm magic it says "u have SoC" then it saya its not compatible and my phone is not mtk phone" but my phone is i9500 mt6575 how can i fix this
You can't. If it's not working for you, then it's not working. It doesn't work for all phones.
Tried and it worked on THL W200 - MTK6589T
:-)

However I still have a problem.
CWM refuses to mount microSD card (I put in a 4GB one inside which works fine when Android is loaded, but under CWM, the thing refuses to be mounted).
Any ideas why?

EDIT:
Solved the inability to mount external SD under CWM and TWRP
When partitioning the microSDHC card using MiniTool in Windows, format the card to FAT32 and make sure the cards partitions are set to 'Primary' (if set to 'Logical', then CWM and TWRP will refuse to mount the external SD - but should otherwise work under Android itself).
Ported to Xiaomi REDMI WCDA version (6589T)
is it not working on my alps m3. when i run 'auto' it prompt me error message 'cannot pull from recovery.img". so, i launch with 'manual' mode and it prompt me error mssg - "this ctr porting tools is not compatible with your device, is it for mediatek device only"

Below is my phone info (extract it from uncle mobile tools) :-
Processor=ARMv7 Processor rev 3(v7l)
hardware=MT6592 (soc with emmc partition)
kernel=linux ver 3.4.5 (cpeng@sver-u)
brand=alps
model=M 3
Radio=MOLY.WR8.W13315.MD.WG.MP.V21
Product/Device=a880_xy_s1

Please help.
