link dosent work for meCrying
I dont belief in Automatic recovery maker apps. (Like Magic TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery maker applications)and it shouldnt be even dstributed around the WWW because even a seasoned recovery modder would take time to custom code the recovery itself on the device and it has to be in his hands to be able to perfect it. No modder in his right mind (without the motivation of money) would sit down without the device in his hands and churn out (like a factory) customs recovery one after the other.
We have this "MagicTWRP/CWM/Philz" maker expecting novice users to be able to make their own recovery?? It will either end up in bootloop/recovery loop/blank screen/or upside down image and unable to access external sdcard problems. GOOD LUCK!
It can be potent tool in the hands of expert Linux users no doubt. But not to people like me (an already advanced level users- can cook ROMS) . The modder need to be a user of the device (in their hands) to able to do that effectively/safely for use by other end users.
I think otherwise...
ROM builds across a variety of Android phones can only vary in so many ways. At the very base, they are more or less the same, which satisfies the feasibility of apps like these. More often than not, these tools deliver successful results -- another criterion they made sure was satisfied before releasing the tool.
Actually, it would be incredibly inefficient for those knowledgeable enough to create custom recoveries for every existing model. The purpose of releasing tools like these is for users to be able to do it themselves, yes -- because that is practical. And those brave enough to try these out are nice enough to share the fruits of the successful runs for use of others.
Besides, every author of every single tool released, did so with an at-your-own-risk disclaimer.
I think those that share these things are pretty much heroes in the Android world. They are providing us with the privilege to use our devices in the best way possible.
Just tried this on my Zeaplus M7, it told me I had a "secured boot image" this will not work on your device, the M7 is running lollipop 5.0, can I do something to unlock boot img or will (CWM for all mtk devices) still not work?
Not work on Doogee DG700 MT6582.
Thanks, this work great on Huawei Ascend G700-U10
work on iphone 6 replica Hi-Sky s6
hi, it not work with my BLU Vivo Air Sad
please help!
Wow, cranktech, you are the problem for all the others who are not coders. Unless you are going to be willing to do the work for EVERY device for each person that needs help, your point is not valid. Not making it available like this only makes its it easier for devs to make money on the rest of us.
Please who can help me with rooting tecno canon c8, running Android 5.0 Lollipop and using an MTK 6735 chip. I have tried virtually every one click rooting software and their corresponding PC version but none worked.
