[Admin: Do not use this firmware. It initially tested out fine, but since then, several users have complained of home button function loss, even after returning to stock firmware]

Today our V3 model got a brand new LeWa ROM which is based on firmware 1.0.4 and Android 4.2.2. The ROM is already tested by Gizbeat and is confirmed to work without problems. Since some of the forum members have difficulties downloading the ROM from NeedRom website, I uploaded it on MediaFire which doesn't require having an account, and should be accessible from every part of the world. The speed should also be much faster.

Enjoy!
May be: V3-E - english (external market or europe)
v3-c - chinese (i mean has support of chinese TD-SCDMA)
I saw that indeed.. I have really no idea where that possibly stands for. Google says me nothing about V3-C so i think V3-C can be fake.
At least, may be i will test it but only if someone can confirm that update.zip is CWM flashable, i took a look in the .zip package and saw a scatterfile, so i can not probably flash it. (i dont like flashtools)

I also don't know what scatter file is doing inside a zip file, but according to the rest of the files inside it, I think it's flashable. But does it work afterwards, that is the question. And on NeedRom there's is also a note about being unsure if it will work on "our V3-E". Maybe I'll do it, but don't have good experience with LeWa. On my previous phone is was all in Chinese, network didn't work, and all kind of weird bugs. And all that even though it was made for my phone model specificaly.

What you say makes sense. I'll be giving this a firmware a try tonight. I'm curious if the hardware is different. It won't surprise me to find that the China version has different hardware. Maybe a real Sony 2.0 camera?

But it's also the possibility that it's just regarding language. E may be English / International firmware. Keep in mind, my iNew v3 says nothing about E or C. On the box, or on the inside sticker.

My best guess is that it's just firmware differences. Will know the tale in a few minutes.
4- modify the photo camera aperture of 2.0
That's sound's really nice, if someone can test it pls send feedback then
iNew v3 Lewa ROM tested and working. First flash, I modified the scatter to not flash a couple parts (Preloader / MBR / Recovery / EBR). It started to flash, then in the middle got a BROM error and phone no longer would turn on. Took a leap of faith and flashed the entire thing.

Didn't do any sort of factory reset after flashing.

Tested so far:

Firmware is not rooted.
GPS working and locking
WiFi working
Google Play working
External speaker working
OTG working (tested mouse only)
Dual SIM working
NFC Setting is there and turning on (untested)
3G HSDPA+ connecting and fine (WCDMA)

Camera working - Pictures look fine. Here are 3 samples at night with flash relatively close up. Sorry, it's night here. The max MP is 13. [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Seems like there is no difference between C and E. At least, not functionally. Be prepared for a slight learning curve though. Things are a bit different than normal Android.
Ιf you can, please test if something changes in the known battery charging problem. And also check in 3g options if you have wcdma or tscdma 3g option
Is it official or its just a custom made rom?
Lewa is normally considered custom. Usually ported by combining it with the stock firmware of a given phone. Whoever did it, looks like they did a good job. NFC and OTG seem to be working (though didn't test functionality of NFC, and only tested mouse with OTG). Very likely ported by someone Chinese. The default language is Chinese and has one of those funky keyboards they like to add. Easy enough to switch to English and the stock English keyboard hasn't been removed, so can switch that over too very easily.

I doubt it's from iNew, but I suppose it's remotely possible.

It's not listed on Lewa's site.
