Ok, thanks for the quick response. Great. Hadn't seen this previously.
My problem: gps does not work (even after 20 minutes no fix). my location: netherlands. Inew v3 runs v1.0.8 already...

Well i've got the time and i fixed my gps. I was on 1.0.8 and i could only download the data from EPO and i had no gps signal.
At the end i found that the problem was the NVRAM. If you format and lost your imei's probably you did in the SPflashtool (Format+Download).
To fix my problem i got the NVRAM (someone did a [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]) and i restored it with my imei's.
WARMING: there are 2 versions of the phone (WCDMA 900/2100 and WCDMA 850/2100) so there are 2 nvrams.
After that i got back to the 1.0.4 and checked that the gps worked but the rom is noticable slower. So at the end i installed the 1.0.8 and patched the gps with the files from this rom.
Now i can get a lock in about 2 seconds.

Maybe you can give us a hint... ;-)

The gps.conf needs to be configured with your local ntp server (FasterFix will do the trick).
I've tried to copy this to my 1.0.8 rom and after a reboot my agps and epo started to work. Still my gps wont work(im starting to think that i have faulty hardware like the antenna or something) it shows the satellites but it wont pick any signal. Later i will make a GPS fix for 1.0.8 as for now i want to repair my phone gps
I made it with the files from my post above.
If you have Stock 1.0.8 and dont want to install this rom just do the following steps.
1- Download this rom.
2- Open the rom and extract system.img
3- Mount the system img to a directory (for linux users: mount -t auto system.img /yourdirectory)
4- Copy the files above to your sdcard.
5- In your android copy the files from the sdcard to their belonging folders (you can do it using Root Explorer or by adb shell).
PS: i know that this is not easy for people that are not experienced with android/linux and i will try to make a flashable zip in my free time so its easy to do by CWM.

I have my V3 from 7 april.
On my phone is 1.0.8 already installed.
But yesterday i tried to use the waze app.
And i couldn't find any gps sattelite
Also i have a problem with my screen. It always lock even when i'm scrolling trough my app's.
It locks and even sometimes it chances to the black screen with the hour on top (like you close the flipcover) and then automaticly back to the screen to unlock.
The time of locking is already set on 1 minute but this wont help.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I don't have any metal on my wrist that could activate the locking screen.

I didn't change the permissions but also i mounted the system and copied the files with the adb shell and as consequence i think the permissions are kept from the original filesystem. Anyway to be sure just sure check the permissions from the original files and put them with root explorer or with the shell in the newly copied files

Yesterday I downloaded the epo filles.
Now i find satellites but when i use gps test my phone only finds 10 and conect with max 4/5 and lose the signal after a while.
Also i'm driving in the fields and in city area always on the wrong roads and recalculating
