Over the past few weeks, countless rumors and information bits about the HTC M9 have circulated; although there were many leaks, they were mostly inconclusive. For that reason, Chinaphonearena has resisted reporting about the device of interest until such time that solid information has come up.
Luckily, that time is now, as @upleaks has released the entire supposed spec sheet of HTC’s awaited flagship phone, the M9.
As powerful as the M8 was in its time, the M9 is very much so for the current state of phones. HTC seems to be keen on keeping up with the high-end phones by pouring in 3GB of RAM storage. The internal storage is an optional 32GB or 64GB for low and high versions of the M9, both further expandable via microSD card.
The phone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s powerful SD810, meaning a 64-bit architecture and 4G LTE capability.
They’ve taken a different tack with the primary camera as compared to the M8’s dual lens. The rear camera will be sporting a mighty attractive 20.7MP sensor while the front-facing camera will have 4MP max resolution.
The M9 or Hima will feature a 5.0 inch screen with 1080p resolution display. Furthermore, it will be using HTC’s BoomSound stereo speakers, which they are reportedly working with Bose on.
The phone will be running Android 5.0.2 with HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top of it. Lastly, the power storage capacity is indeed satisfactory, specced at 2840 mAH.
HTC will officially unveil the new model at the MWC on March first, along with the official spec list. The price range and availability should be announced at the event as well.
