Hey Bert, so excited to hear that your partition works!
I am having a 2GB 32GB ROM ZOPO ZP980 Phone. The internal storage is currently partitioned at 1.5GB and the 32GB is under Phone Storage.

I tried installing my apps into the 32GB Phone Storage, but it didn't work that way. All the apps were installed in the internal storage instead. I couldn't utilize the 32GB Phone Storage for my apps. What a waste!

Which apk did you install to partition your phone storage? How about your original internal storage? Will it just get disappeared?

Oh yeah! I have managed to get it done!!!
I have 7.13GB Internal Memory, 21.11GB Phone Storage.
This is what I want!

Just for anyone else who wants to use these apk's for their 32g phones: You can use any one. I used the 8/16 apk and selected the 4gb partition.

So, you went with the bigger partition. I felt like 4gb was enough, at least for now. Though I haven't really installed anything since I did all this, I did select Phone Storage as the default write disk.

I may clean out my 32gb micro sd, move all the apps off of it and onto the phone. But, one thing at a time!
Hello everybody,
I have a N7189 android phone, i just used the program to partition the internal memory and everything went fine, now i have a 2.77GB internal memory, instead 0.98GB + 1.77GB as before.
But i have a bigger problem now... i cannot see my sdcard. The sdcard is woring fine, i can see it in my computer, but my telephone says i have no external memory. If I try to shoot a photo it says "please insert a sd card". If i try to explore my phone with FileManager i cannot see any file, even if i can install every kind of program from playstore. Any idea????
Thank you very much.
Update: if I enter the factory mode i can see a menu, I select Item Test, then eMMC,
I can see
eMMC: 1024 MB
Card Avail: Yes
Total Size: 4 GB

But if i go in Memory Card menu I can see:
eMMC FAT:
Format Stat: (null)
Card Avail: Yes
Total Size: 0 mb
Checksum: 0xffffffff

SD Card 2:
Card Avail: Yes
Total Size: 30431 MB
Free Size: 17061 MB
Checksum: 0xf5e6

So the telephone can see my sd card.
If I try to format eMMC FAT i receive this message:

eMMC FAT:
Format Stat: Format eMMC FAT FAILED!
Card Avail: Yes
Total Size: 0 MB
Checksum: 0xffffffff

Any help will be very very appreciated!!!
Have you tried to do what I did (as Gizbeat suggested) and plug the phone into your computer, turn on USB storage, and see if that partition shows up in windows? A format from windows might be all you need to do.

I plugged the phone in, turned on USB storage, and what do you know... a popup that says I need to format the drive before I can use it. Done.

Now I have 4gb (3.94) for apps, and 24.26gb phone storage. Loooooooove this phone.

Hallo I have also the INEW I6000 32GB , a perfect phone.
as I understand with this apk flle you can arrange the internal phone storage
and from 1gb go to 4gb for apps space?
so finally you'll get 4GB for install apps and 24GB for storage like music, photos etc?
but not for apps right?

* can I install also apps to an external sd card?
* how I used this tool? running the apk? and then?

please guide
thank you

Yes, you will have 4gb (or more, or less, depending on which APK and size you choose) and the rest as storage for pictures, music, etc.

Copy the APK to your phone. Install it, then open it. Select the size you want. I don't remember what else to do, probably just a reboot, but if there is anything else, I'm sure it's self explanatory or explained in this thread. Let us know how it works out for you.

one more question
I will have 4GB for apps and the rest for music etc...still possible to install apps also to an SD card? Undecided
I tried this on my 4gb mt6589 phone, it seemed to go all right until i rebooted the phone after wipe data. On first start it didn't boot, so i rebooted to recovery to try restoring my backup, and now comes the problem: "Error while restoring /system!"

What can i do??
