with the same battery ?
I see this and i say finaly a big batery but only in my dreams :-(

Don't believe this goophone. It's a V3 clone (and single SIM) and possible a scam commercial. It was there before MT6592 even came out. And btw, the price is twice more than our V3, which doesn't justify the hardware differences, even if it had a more capacitive battery.
For my information, is the problems with the battery (doesnt charge over 89% or when 100% it drops fast to 85%) OS, firmware or battery related?
THL W8 battery (2000 mAh) fits with some modification (very simple).

Here are pictures how to do it, but description is in russian.
You need only get papper off from battery and wheetle away battery contacs.
Author of modification say that it gives more than 20% of smartphone lifetime.
How can we have more than 20% battery autonomy, when the battery is only 9% more capacitive? Is THL's battery really so much advanced that it gives more when comparing mAh values?

Author and several other peoples confirm this. They make testes by watching 1080p videos, playing Epic Citadel, Antutu battery and several others. They guessed that THL is more real 2000 mAh than iNew 1830 mAh. Difference is around 400 mAh. I'm waiting for my THL W8 battery from China, so I can't confirm this right now.

does the battery fits perfectly in the place? those numbers are really interesting...can you take some pictures from the back cover of your phone from the sides and from the top, so that we see how it's closed?
thank you Smiling

20% more power isn't really what I'm looking for. if this thing that Chris_koz talked about work, it's more interesting to me... l'm still waiting Chris Big Grin answer me ! :p
20% additional power is nearly max value that you can get from accum space in iNew v3. Capacity almost depends from geometric volume of acc. THL W8 acc occupy all back volume. Note2 acc never fits to iNew because of it width. You should make new back cover for this acc.

How are you guys getting the W8 battery to fit? The battery from my old W8 is too long and won't fit in the slot?

I emailed them twice last month but still I haven't heard from them back :-?
