Tried installing 1.1.1 but that also did not want to install. 1.1.5 installed from 1.0.8 but baseband issue. Going to try the original 1.1.5 with no boot logo and see if I can get that to work correcly. Very weird.

Maybe you have lost your IMEI. Is highly recommended to make a NVRAM backup before flashing any ROM and you can restore in these cases.

I am sure there are tutorials to restore the IMEI, anyone knows?

1- Go to Engineer mode in mobile Uncle tool.

2- Select Engineer mode[MTK]

3- Go to CDS information

4- Select Radio Information

5- Select the phone 2 (if you want to change sim2's imei number) Here you can see a command line with “AT+........”.
Now just add this command to it AT+EGMR=1,10,”15 digit YOUR NEW IMEI NO” And press “send at command” button. [ if you want to change the the phone 1 IMEI AT+EGMR=1,7,”NEW IMEI NO”] Yes we all done…

You can find your original IMEI numbers on the label under the battery.

just my 2 cent to everyone.

i done a binary compare between the 1.1.5 (in the first post) with 1.1.1 result are:
- boot.img is 100% equal
- system have only these files changed:
build.prop
etc/permissions/com.google.android.maps.xml
etc/epo_conf.xml
media/audio/ringtones/UrsaMinor.ogg

nothing news, for me!
Good job. Migrating from 1.1.1 to 1.1.5 is fine. There has been no loss of data or applications. CWM and ROOT is also no change in my phone. Only loss IMEI, restore the MTK Droid Tools and IMEI is back and hold .... GPS better than 1.1.1 Thank you for 1.1.5
And what are diff from 1.0.8 to 1.1.1? lol

[EDIT]
Ooops, sorry!
i redo the comparison today.
1.1.1 vs 1.0.8: there are 250 different files and 88 new files under /system.
Can you check the 1.1.5 with the 1.1.4?
I think they are the same too.

no, 1.1.4 was not equal to 1.1.1

1.1.5 have
42 newer files (respect to 1.1.4)
- 32 are for nfc config,
- 6 for boot logo
- /data/connection_center_access
- /system/framework/org.simalliance.openmobileapi.jar + permission.xml
- /system/app/SmartcardService.apk

260 files different in /system

in boot.img kernel is different but ramdisk is equal
kernel 1.1.5 is may 7 2014
kernel 1.1.4 is mar 25 2014

in comparison from 1.1.5 to 1.1.1 i forgot to check the newer files (sorry), nfc config files are not present in 1.1.1
Thanks!

By the way where are the "thank you" buttons?
