I'm rather surprised seeing that they didn't solve the problem. Can you confirm that there is still no solution other than downgrading the firmware? I think this is unacceptable by vernee.

The "THOR_E-2017_05_24" seems to be the only possible solution.
Many things about Vernee are unacceptable.

Thanks for your reply. At first they looked like a good manufacturer. I remember they provided an upgrade to android 7 for the previous model (thor) and this helped in my decision to buy the thor-e. They also quickly solved a micropone problem.
The lack of magnetic sensor's files in your firmware comparison suggests that they intentionally disabled it for some reason, but informing the customers is mandatory.
We'll see what happens.

My vernee thor e ends the voice calls after some seconds, i tried the factory restore, downgrade to THOR_E-2017_05_24, happens with any slot or sim card.
Dont happen with whatsapp voice calls or others app.
Sometimes i can receive or make calls normaly , but is rare.
Some sugestion?

I'm running Cleopatra's THOR_E-2017_05_24 ROM since last summer, everything was working fine incl. compass. Recently I'm facing two issues - notification diode and proximity sensors stopped working. I assume it is not ROM-related and it is a hardware fault (or am I wrong?). The phone is still in warranty period but my dealer in general considers warranty void if a phone is rooted and ROM altered. My question therefore is - is there a way of how to put the phone into a 'standard' factory state, possibly with no signs of rooting?

Great thanks for all the work performed with building the TWRP 3.20 tool and the detailed instructions to install it. Though I was sufficiently satisfied with both my Vernee Thor and my (OTA updated) Thor_E 20170829183629 devices I was looking for TWRP to also get the Thor_E rooted and gain full ownership. I successfully followed your installation instruction except for the SU_BU apps which I replaced by Magisk right from the beginning to allow for Xposed-Framework and XInternalSD installation. Full Backup on SDcard had been performed by TWRP Backup before completing TWRP Installation by wiping Cache, Dalwig etc and formatting data. For rooting the device I just prefer Magisk to SU because it appears to be more powerful, perhaps I also install BusyBox later on.

Some time ago, already on Thor_E 20170829 I also had problems with voice calls e.g. circuit switched calls (in contrast to packet switched, e.g WhatsApp phone calls). I could call the B-Party, could perfectly understand her/him but she/he would not hear me at all. Change of transmission technique from GSM, to 2G, 3G or 4G/LTE failed as well. Eventually, Factory Reset fully solved the problem, it appears to have entirely gone after Factory Reset and did not pop up until today (even after the TWRP installation).
