The phone works good excep the compass. The apps detect the compass but it dose´nt work.

Why Download Only option ?
When you downgrade or upgrade a firmware,
you have to choose Firmware Upgrade option.
In my Thor E the 2017_05_24 rom is the only one with Compass working.

I did it again in this way. Firmware upgrade all except preloader. It works fine excep the compass, detect but donsent work. Added a issue, now i can`t acces to recovery mode.

Why are you not able to flash a rom ?
It is so simple to do.

If i flash the preloader It dosent boot. To make bootable again i have to flash the preloader of the THOR_E-2017_06_15.

I am not able to understand why you have to change the preloader.
In my Thor E, I am able to flash every rom without being obliged to change the preloader.

NOW :

Please flash once gain (Firmware Upgrade option) the next rom :

Then, make the ota update.
You just have to hope that the Vernee developers will fix the Compass bug.

I did it. This version have BT high power consumption (and the compass fail of course). Waiting to vernee developers fix it.

I’m new with flashing phones and as i know there’s not supposed to be any updates coming on my phone if it’s rooted. But yesterday I recived and update and decidet to install it. Now when i’m trying to turn on my phone it automaticly takes me to reovery. What am I supposed to do? Thanks

Hello.

It is simple to explain you.
When your phone is rooted, you cannot install the OTA updates.
If you want to install the OTA updates, your phone has to be clean (not rooted).
You have tried to install an OTA update onto a rooted phone.
Now it is normal that your phone reboot onto TWRP.

STEPS :

1) Restore the twrp backup of your phone.
2) If you have not made any twrp backup,
you have to flash the stock rom with SP Flash Tool.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION (please read very carefully)

The twrp 3.1.0 is not as easy as the previous twrp 3.0.3
The first time that you will enter onto twrp, you will see an unusual behavior.
I will try to put some more light on it :

a) Ask a password, please skip it (only the first time).
b) Cyrillic alphabet (only the first time).
c) Dalvik / ART Cache not working (only the first time).
d) Data partition of 0 MB (only the first time).
e) When you will restore your first full backup, it will be like a factory reset.

But do not worry, it will happen only the first time


TWRP INSTALLATION STEPS :

I strongly recommend you the next version of SP Flash Tool :

1) Tap on Settings --> About phone --> Tap Build number seven times.
Developer options --> OEM unlocking enabled and USB debugging enabled.

2) Download the NEW SuperSU v2.82 zip at the next link :

3) Unrar the rar. Copy the 2 zips onto your microSD.
4) Turn off the phone.
5) Open SP Flash Tool.
6) Unrar the TWRP rar.
7) Load the scatter file inside the twrp folder.
8) Select Download Only option.
9) Click Download.
10) Connect your turned off phone to the pc with USB cable.
11) When 100% disconnect the USB cable.
12) Enter onto twrp recovery (volume up + power buttons simultaneously).
13) Select the first white line and press volume down.

VITAL STEPS :

14) Select the appropriate language.
15) Tap Install, Select Storage, Micro SDCard, OK.
16) Tap on SR1-SuperSU-v2.82-SR1-20170608224931.zip
17) Swipe to confirm Flash.
18) Tap on Reboot.
19) Tap on the icon of SuperSU to activate it.
20) I strongly recommend you to install the next apk :

21) I strongly recommend you to make a full backup onto microSD.
22) Then, restore the full backup that you have just made onto microSD.
