First, donation has been made.

Second the US version of the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL - X008D) which uses the Mediatek MT6737M SOC finally has released firmware.

Can you make a TWRP for this?

Thanks

Tim

Thanks mrsim. Have deleted this person's rude post, but left your defense of Cleo here. Indeed it's an incredible amount of work Cleopatra has put into helping the communities.
Everytime I try to port twrp 3.x.x, the size is always bigger than my stock recovery. How to made it smaller or at least its size is as the same as my stock since if it's bigger than stock, it couldn't be installed?

Also, is there any twrp 3.x.x from mtk6572 arm7 with approximately below 6mb in size, provide me the link if there's any please?

you cannot get TWRP for mtk6572 only CWM or phils touch and the only way to get it to work is to sacrifice to many of TWRP's workings...i tried this a few years ago with a mtk6582 and had the same issue in the end i had to just use CWM as you lost so much of what TWRP could do after stripping it down that it wasn't worth it

Thx for this nice info

Actually what I really need from a r recovery are only "cancel backup/restore feature" & "partition sdcard feature" beside backup & restore.
Are there any recovery obviously other than twrp that can do it?

Hi everybody
I try to follow Cleo's instructions for my [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] (clone of [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] & [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]).
At the end of the sixth, I note that the folder "Recovery" contains only 9 files instead of 10 planned ("recovery.img-mtk" is absent)
I think I had a bad start ! Angry

HI, i'm posting here cause it's the only helpful site i've found, could someone help me to get the stock recovery for my Echo Max? I haven't found any way to copy it from my phone or download it anywhere else... Have in mind that my phone isn't rooted, so i can't use root commands.
