Hi Cleopatra,
My device Advan i10, base on MT6735 988MHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB Storage, Android 7.1, Screen 1280x800
I found stock ROM for this device from the internet, but can't unpack the recovery image.
The file name is recovery-verified.img
Is it possible to port TWRP and root this device?
Could you please help me.
Thanks in advance.

Hello mgozali,

Are you sure about MT6735 ?
Maybe it could be an MT8161

Steps :

1) Rename the "recovery-verified.img" onto "recovery.img".
2) Unpack it via Carliv Image Kitchen.
3) Try to follow all the steps at the first post of this thread.

Regards

The device factory mode says mt6735m
Already trying to unpack using carliv_image_kitchen and Mediatek Auto TWRP Recovery Porter V1.0, all failed.
Images may be in different formats, as there is no ANDROID text in the first 8 bytes.
